The Clean Air Day campaign is a public initiative focused on promoting emissions reductions. Built around a series of carbon neutral installations, each installation takes the shape of an item in its natural environment and reminds us that we live better when we’re in tune with the environment.
We created installations in which we applied living moss to reused bicycles and bus benches. Placed in key locations around Edmonton, these pieces were paired with a reused sandwich board communicating tips for cleaner transportation.
These pieces were completely hand constructed in house, using moss that we grew and harvested, attached with donated Alberta Farmed Handspun flax twine.
